Westlake has been awarded a grant of £9,500 by the Big Lottery Fund.
The funding will be used to begin development of our new shared natural community space on the equine therapy centre’s land which will be available for everyone to use.
A wide range conservation, nature and wildlife activities as well education and skills projects will take place in the space, with a special emphasis on supporting harder to reach groups.
The Big Lottery Fund uses money raised by National Lottery players to help communities achieve their ambitions and since June 2004 has awarded £9 billion to projects that improve the lives of people.
