Westlake is taking shape nicely with the help of Gunn JCB.
The Ruthin branch of the industrial JCB machine specialists has loaned our project a compact digger and five-tonne excavator free of charge to help with landscaping and path building.
Gunn JCB sales executive Aled Thomas said: “Westlake made an enquiry about renting some machinery but when I went to have a chat with them and heard about the plans for the equine therapy centre it became obvious this was a good thing for people with autism and the whole community and something we would want to help.
“We’ve been really impressed by the vision and the hard work that has gone into this project so far and are delighted to be able to collaborate.”
Westlake co-owner David Haycocks said: “Once again we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local firms in helping our dream take shape.
“Gunn JCB are one of the largest, most successful JCB dealers in the world and they have got to that position by putting people at the heart of what they do. Their kindness has brought us closer to the day when we can open our doors and begin transforming lives for the better.”
